The SBCEA offered to meet with the school board every single night for ten nights until the end of school in order to settle the contract and announce the settlement at graduation and the board said no to the meetings. The teacher's union also put a proposal on the table that would resolve every one of the 20 odd open issues according to what the arbitrator suggested was fair so that those items wouldn't be a concern anymore and again they said no. It is quite apparant the board does not want to settle this contract at all.
