message-I was once told, and agree, that when you move away from home, you have to quit seeing your old home the same way before you come to see your new home as home. This is similar to teens and young adults who are critical of adult authority while trying to establish their own independence and authority.

Some do it graciously, some not so much. Some criticism is in the ear of the listener.
