Tea party time drawing near at Schenley Plaza
The Children's Carousel Tea returns to Schenley Plaza in Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Guests can enjoy creative entertainment, refreshments, and spins on the PNC Carousel from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear festive party attire.
The Zany Umbrella Circus will return to perform as it did last year. Kelsey Friday, former lead singer of national recording act "Brownie Mary" who has been featured on a children's cable channel, will perform Friday. The afternoon will include a puppet show by Bee's Knees Entertainment, as well as entertainment by Juggling Joe, Strolling George the Puppet, coloring activities and Catch the Moment photography.
This year's menu includes sandwiches, fruit, tea cookies, and flavored tea and lemonade.
