Charles L. Richard
Charles L. Richard, 45, of Bayard Street, Shadyside, in Pittsburgh, died at 3:37 a.m. Monday at the UPMC Montefiore Hospital following an extended illness.
Born April 11, 1964, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Richard L. Richard and Marjorie Twentier Richard of Harmony.
He was married for two years to Dung Nyguen Richard, who survives.
Charles was employed for 22 years by the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court in Pittsburgh.
He graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1982 and from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986.
He loved to travel and was an avid baseball and Pitt basketball fan.
Survivors include his mother; his wife; a niece, Brittany Richard; two nephews, Coltin Mawhinney and Raleigh Boots; two sisters, Theresa (Norman) Boots of Ellwood City and Shirley Mawhinney of Portersville; and a brother, Eric (Anesa) Richard, Portersville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
