Felix

Daniel L. "Dan" Felix, 56, of 126 Boyers Road, Forestville, since 1979, died at 7:01 a.m. Wednesday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

Born in Boyers, May 3, 1952, he was the son of John Henry Felix and Ruth L. Ferguson.

He married Pamela E. Jones June 25, 1977.

He was employed by Quality Aggregates of Boyers, where he was a heavy equipment operator.

He was affiliated with the Forestville United Methodist Church.

He was a 1970 graduate of Moniteau High School.

Surviving are his wife, Pam at home; a daughter, Amanda Smail and her husband, Matt, of Grove City; a son, Matthew W. Felix of Forestville; his mother, Ruth Felix of Forestville; four sisters, Connie Wiley and her husband, Cary, of Pardoe, Mercer County, Sandra Thornbury and her husband, John, of Forestville, Doris Walters and her husband, Bradley, of Mercer and Kathleen Thornbury and her husband, Patrick, of Forestville; three brothers, Robert Felix and his wife, Sandy, Shirl Felix and Arlene, both Parker, and Kenneth Felix and his wife, Karen, of Farrell; and numerous relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Felix.

<B>FELIX</B> Visitation for Daniel L. "Dan" Felix, who died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Forestville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Hastings, pastor of Harrisville United Methodist Church, and the Rev. David Ealy, pastor of Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating.
