James F. Rothen
James F. "Jamie" Rothen, 49, of Walker Avenue in Butler died Wednesday at his home of natural causes.
He was born Oct. 16, 1959, in Butler, a son of Mary Ellen Snodgrass Rothen and the late Louis I. Rothen.
Jamie was a graduate of Butler High School and earned an associate degree in HVAC from Triangle Tech. He worked for more than 10 years as an HVAC technician in both Maryland and the Butler area.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
Surviving are his children, Brent M. Rothen of Butler and Cerise N. Rothen and her husband, Anthony Buzzelli, of Saxonburg; his mother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Rothen of Butler; two brothers and their wives, Robert L. and Patsy A. Rothen of Hagerstown, Md., and John J. and Jennifer J. Rothen of Mt. Airy, Md.; three grandsons, Zachary A. Rothen, Zion N. Opperman and Anthony Buzzelli Jr; and his ex-wife and friend, Cheryl Worsley of Butler.
<B>ROTHEN </B><B> </B>Friends of James F. "Jamie" Rothen, who died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church with Father Pierre Falkenhan, pastor, officiating.
