Lee Andrew Hovis
Lee Andrew Hovis, 88, of Harmony, formerly of Zelienople, died Friday at the Evergreen Nursing Center.
Born Sept. 26, 1920, in Harrisville, he was the son of the late Alonzo and Helen Taylor Hovis.
Mr. Hovis was a member of the Zelienople Church of the Nazarene. He was a World War II Navy veteran and was an avid gardener.
He is survived by a daughter, Anita L. Boutwell and her husband, Jim, of Perkiston, Miss.; three sons, Clifford E. Hovis and his wife, Lisa, of Twin Lake, Mich., Duane A. Hovis and his wife, Jeannie, of Ocean Spring, Miss., and Daniel L. Hovis of Renfrew; a sister, Edna Ray of Portersville; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Barnett Hovis, who died April 25, 2008; and three brothers.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Hill, his church pastor, officiating.
