ZOE HUGHES (Knoch) picked up three hits, including an RBI single, for the Point Park University softball team in a 12-4 victory over Carlow College in the first game of a doubleheader Thursday. Hughes added a sacrifice fly RBI in the nightcap, a 9-4 victory for the Pioneers.•

LAUREN PENNELL (Seneca Valley) pitched a three-hit shutout in Grove City College's 9-0 softball victory over Thiel College in the first game of a doubleheader. Pennell added an RBI single in the contest. Pennell, however, was charged with the loss in a 9-4 loss in the second game.
