LACEY COCHRAN (Freeport), a member of the Slippery Rock University women's track and field team, was named PSAC Female Track Athlete of the Week. She placed second in the 400 meters at the Sparky Adams Invitational at Baldwin-Wallace (Ohio) College, won the 200 meters, and ran a leg of the winning 400-meter relay and 1,600-meter relay.•

WHITNEY HENDERSHOT (Slippery Rock University) was named PSAC Female Field Athlete of the Week, winning the heptathlon at the Ed Fry Invitational in Indiana (Pa.) and setting The Rock record of 5 feet, 10 inches in the high jump.•

ANDREW SHAKELY (Butler), a freshman on the Grove City College men's golf team, tied for eight overall with a 78-76-154 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships Monday and Tuesday at Oak Tree Country Club. Shakely earned second team All-PAC honors.
