Carl ‘Anthony’ Robinson

Carl “Anthony” Robinson, 44, of West Washington Street, New Castle, died Saturday evening at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Feb. 25, 1965, in New Castle, he was the son of Carl Robinson of Butler and Charlott Johnson of New Castle.

He was employed as an independent truck driver.

He was a 1983 graduate of the Lawrence County Vocational-Technical School and a graduate of the TDDS Trucking School.

He loved the Lord, working on cars and playing musical instruments.

Mr. Robinson was a member of the Second Baptist Church in New Castle.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Samuel Razo Sr. of New Castle; his father and stepmother, Carl and Shirley Robinson of Butler; a brother, Sam Razo Jr. of Washington, Pa.; a sister, Monica Razo of New Castle; and four stepsisters, Diane Robinson of Butler, Joni Russell of Butler, Denise Mapoelean of Butler and Cheryl Wiles of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

ROBINSON -- Friends of Carl “Anthony” Robinson, who died Saturday, March 14, 2009, will be recieived from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the J. BRADLEY MCGONIGLE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Second Baptist Church, 537 Bell Ave., New Castle, with the Rev. Norman H. Hunt, pastor, officiating.
