Rosemary Jorden

Rosemary Spencer Jorden, 73, of Richland Township, formerly of Middlesex Township, died Monday evening at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Sept.6, 1935, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nora Roberts Spencer.

Mrs. Jorden was the former owner of Jorden's Sunoco in Cranberry Township and Mars, and also owned Jorden's Sunoco A-plus Minimart in Blawnox.

She was a member of the New Life Christian Ministries in Saxonburg, and she enjoyed playing 500 and other card games in the neighborhood.

She is survived by six daughters, Diane Hetrick of Phoenix, Ariz., Beverly Wyberg and her husband, Gary, of Pueblo West, Colo., Kathleen Wells of Gibsonia, Wendy Kovach and her husband, Mark, of Valencia, Linda Clifford and her husband, Tim, of Evans City, and Pamela Croskey and her husband, Robert, of Gibsonia; a son, William G. Jorden Jr., and his wife, Jennifer, of Wexford; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by five brothers, Charles Spencer in Arizona, John "Jack" Spencer of Imperial, Thomas Spencer Jr. of Daytona Beach, Fla., Wayne Spencer in China, and Donald Spencer of Butler; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Jorden Sr., whom she married Sept. 5, 1953, and who died on Sept. 11, 1991; and by a brother, Kenneth Spencer.

<B>JORDEN</B>— Friends of Rosemary Spencer Jorden, who died Monday, March 9, 2009, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Crossway Church, 109 Davis Road, Valencia. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. The Rev. Dr. Chris Marshall, pastor of New Life Christian Ministries, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.Memorials may be made to New Life Christian Ministries Building Fund, 1032 Carriage Lane, Saxonburg, PA 16056.
