Dale "Newt" Ketterer Sr., 89, of New Brighton passed away Sunday at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A New Brighton area dairy farmer and the owner/operator of the Walter S. Ketterer & Sons Sawmill, Newt also will be remembered by his lifelong membership in the Beaver Valley Coon Hunter's Association.

<B>KETTERER</B> — Friends of Dale "Newt" Ketterer Sr., who died Sunday, March 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the <B>SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 273 Route 68, Rochester, adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. His service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Christopher Kindle officiating.Memorial contributions may be directed to the Beaver County Cancer and Heart Association Inc., the Concord United Methodist Church or to the Beaver Valley Contact Crisis Center.A complete notice will be published in the Wednesday edition of the newspaper.
