Mary Agnes McVicker

Mary Agnes McVicker, 91, of Zelienople died Wednesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

Born July 21, 1917, in Steubenville, Ohio, she was the daughter of William and Mary Catherine (Hubbard) Hannan.

Mrs. McVicker was a member of the Seaman Memorial Chapel at Passavant Retirement Community where she served the Lord as an usher and organist. Her time at Passavant was the happiest 15 years of her life. She was very social at Passavant and liked to play cards.

Mrs. McVicker was proud to be an industrial nurse for the Weirton Steel Corp. where she retired in the late 1970s.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen L. Mentzer and her husband, Jim, of Coraopolis and Jill Graham Schmidlkofer of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; a son, Dr. Eric A. Graham, D.D.S. and his wife, Christine, of Greensburg; a stepson Stewart McVicker Jr. of Largo, Fla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stewart McVicker; and brothers and sisters.

<B>MCVICKER</B> — A memorial service celebrating the life of Mary Agnes McVicker, who died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Seaman Memorial Chapel at Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S. Main St., Zelienople, with the Rev. Wilfred Goetze and the Rev. Rob Rowe officiating.Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Passavant Benevolent Fund/LAS Foundation, 401 S.
