Edward L. Morris, 81, of Harmony died Sunday at his home.

Born May 3, 1927, in Perry Township, Jefferson County, he was the son of the late George and Zella (Witzel) Morris.

Mr. Morris retired from Resolite/ H.H. Robertson of Zelienople.

He was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 474, Zelienople, and the Harmony Moose Lodge 957.

Mr. Morris attended St. Gregory Catholic Church, Zelienople.

Edward was always ready and willing to help his friends with his Kubota.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Morris of Harmony; two daughters, Layna Harper of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Debra Morris of Indianapolis, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Sue Gliebe and her husband, Ken, of Harmony; a granddaughter, Nicole Rogers and her husband, Adam, of Indianapolis; a great-grandson, Aiden Edward Powell; four step-grandchildren, Scott, Karen, Shelley and Sharon Gliebe; and a step-great-grandson, Braxton Beck.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Knapp Morris, who died in 1981; and a brother, William Handel.

<B>MORRIS </B>— Friends of Edward L. Morris, who died Sunday, March 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Father Robert M. Miller officiating.
