Charles Edward Smith, 71, of Penn Hills died Friday.

He was the beloved husband of Ruth (Fleming); father of Edward Charles (Sherrie) Smith and Amy Jessica Smith; most beloved pappy to Joshua, Natalie and Simon Smith; uncle of Cathy (Smith) Tatulinski and James Smith; and son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Jenkins) Smith.

Mr. Smith was a well-known Penn Hills locksmith.

<B>SMITH</B> — Visitation for Charles Edward Smith, who died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>FINDLAY C. WYLIE FUNERAL HOME</B>, 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Bartholomew Church.
