Aida M. Castilyn, 85, of Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of West Diamond Street, died at 12:25 a.m. Friday at Sunnyview.

Born March 15, 1923, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Eugene McClelland and the late Sarah Gardiner McClelland.

Mrs. Castilyn was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Castilyn is survived by one daughter, Sandra J. Hays of Prospect; one sister, Mrs. Merril (Jane) Moses of Butler; one brother, E.A. McClelland of Reading; and by a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Castilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Frank R. Castilyn, who died Oct. 13, 1985; and also by one sister and three brothers.

<B>CASTILYN </B>— There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Aida M. Castilyn, who died Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Members of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Friday.Memorial contributions may be made to the Butler Area Public Library, 218 N.
