Mary Florence Cobler
Mary Florence Cobler, 103, of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot, formerly of Turtle Creek, died at 7:50 a.m. Friday in Concordia following an illness.
Born May 22, 1905, in Worthington, she was the daughter of the late John W. McDevitt and the late Mary E. Bish McDevitt.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Alpha Lutheran Church, Turtle Creek. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed painting, cooking, sewing and gardening.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ellen Ellenberger of Monroeville; a son, John A. Cobler and his wife, Judith, of Harwick; five grandchildren, Jeff, Keith, Lance, Natalie and Theresa; and five great-grandchildren, Lance, Paige, Amanda and Stephanie.
She married John Albert Cobler on Sept. 25, 1929, and he died April 7, 1991. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Slippery Rock and Main Streets in Chicora. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with her niece and nephew, the Rev. Kathi Davis and the Rev.
