SLIPPERY ROCK The Slippery Rock University women's lacrosse team held an 8-6 lead at halftime, but it could not hang on in suffering a 16-12 loss to Indiana (Pa.) Wednesday night at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium.

IUP scored six unanswered goals to begin the second half and never trailed again.

Amy Halls paced the SRU attack with three goals and an assist, giving her 28 goals and five assists on the season. Emma VanDenburg and Sam Huebner each contributed two goals and an assist.

Katie Roof added a pair of goals for The Rock (2-8, 0-5).

Amanda Fetter paced IUP (3-5, 1-34) with four goals.
