Brian,

Today is your birthday and it has been four long years since we last celebrated with you.

You're finally no longer a teenager, you're now 20.

It's so hard to believe you were only 16 when you died.

Your life was supposed to begin, not end.

The memories we all have of you effect us all so differently but all mean so much to us.

We hold them dear to our hearts.

We try to imagine what life would be like if you were still here.

We know it would be nothing but happiness, but again we get hit with reality and feel nothing but sadness because you're not here.

People say we should move on and let you go, but call us all selfish, we can never let you go.

We never will Brian, so don't you worry.

They say love is the greatest gift of all.

But, NO Brian, YOUR love was the greatest gift of all.

Today is a special day but we have to celebrate it in a different way.

With balloons and flowers at your grave one by one, instead of all together.

Our hearts hurt every day but today it will ache with emptiness even more.

We just want you here so we can watch you get embarrassed as we sang "happy birthday to you" as your beautiful face starts to glow.

We all have one wish.

Our wish is that you will be with us on your birthday, even if it is your spirit.

Well baby, you know we can ramble on and on about you, but we will let it be for now and say "HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY BABY BRIAN" (yes we said 20th).

We still love and miss you always.
