Hey Jack, hmmm not sure what to do with your last post. It sounded very angry. I am not going to get into a screaming match on here with anyone, that’s just childish, so if that’s what your trying to do I will save you the trouble. As far as Chris Dodd Democrat, who set up AIG bonuses, That might be true but Democrat and Republican alike still had to vote to approve so the point is moot. They were both(D&R) to blame. As far as AIG holding congressional pensions in its portfolio, that may be true as well. AIG is a very diverse company I am sure they hold allot of pensions in their portfolio. So is it a point worth discussion? (Not sure. I think you might be trying to declare conflict of interest here and I suppose you could make the case for it. Does it surprise you? Come on, this is nothing new. What about both Bush's with their oil interests.)No need to say more there. I would only say that someone is going to hold them (Pension Portfolios) regardless, so again I am not sure if the point your trying to make is really that noteworthy. As far as Wall Street crooks and Congress, I agree, the love of money and power corrupts absolutely. Senators who slide bonuses in on an unsuspecting, trusting general public is despicable. Their actions need to be remembered so they can be voted out. Also, your post seemed to be a little bit of an attack on me for being a Democrat. Let me clarify for you; I am a registered REPUBLICAN. Just for the record. Also, I do not get my news from Fox, Katie Couric or Jon Liebowitz. The fact is Jack I read newspapers from all over the country. I'm not big on TV. I work too much. I am not saying I have the answer to everything either mind you, but I do feel I have a pretty clear view of what is going on. I try to leave emotion that will cloud my opinions out of the mix. I also try to think things out in a reasonable intelligent manner. If this makes me come off as someone with as you put it a "high moral Dungeon"(that sound like something a TV personality would come up with lol) well its unintentional. I do have high morals and I think everyone should, but I think they have to mix it with common sense, respect and accountability. So far with this bailout issue I haven't seen much of that but I am hopeful that I will. It is always harder to out smart the bad guys because their lives are devoted to cheating ,stealing and wrong doing. I am not going to sit here and play Monday morning quarterback either like some others here. You can only react to each situation as it is presented. I think the current administration deserves more than 3 months before I can judge what the job performance is. I choose to see the glass as half full, you see it as half empty. It's a matter of perspective, I guess. Its fun debating these issues. I hope it stays on a mature level. Regards, John
