NORTH WASHINGTON — The North Washington Volunteer Fire Department will hold its spring auction at 6 p.m. Friday at the social hall, Route 38.

The auction will include Easter and spring items, tools, household goods, toys and fishing equipment. Food will be available and Bob Grossman will serve as auctioneer. Proceeds will benefit the department.

The Butler County Junior Miss scholarship program will be moved from September to June 6 this year. This program, which is open to all 11th grade girls in every school district in Butler County, will be held at the Succop Theater on the campus of Butler County Community College.Registration deadline is the first week of April.
