NORTH WASHINGTON — The North Washington Volunteer Fire Department will hold its spring auction at 6 p.m. Friday at the social hall, Route 38.

The auction will include Easter and spring items, tools, household goods, toys and fishing equipment. Food will be available and Bob Grossman will serve as auctioneer. Proceeds will benefit the department.

GIBSONIA — An Easter flower sale is being held to benefit patients who rely on the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.Orders may be placed by March 30 by contacting Dianne Whetsell at 724-443-0700, Ext. 5328 or dwhetsell@stbarnabashealthsystem.com. Pickup will be held April 8 at St. Barnabas' campuses in Richland Township and Valencia.Available flowers include hydrangeas, Easter lilies, pansies, hyacinths and tulips.

The Butler County Junior Miss scholarship program will be moved from September to June 6 this year. This program, which is open to all 11th grade girls in every school district in Butler County, will be held at the Succop Theater on the campus of Butler County Community College.Registration deadline is the first week of April. Orientation with parents will be held April 16 with practices following orientation. AMBRIDGE — Old Economy Village is looking for craftsmen, tradesmen and artisans to demonstrate crafts, trades and art of the 19th century to enhance the village's programs.
