Hey Jack, just saw your post.Thought I would comment.You know just because someone doesn't agree with every issue as someone else does not mean that they are uninformed or that they don't get it. I think I speak for everyone when I say we are all disgusted with what AIG has done and to betray the trust of the American taxpayers the way they did is arrogant and an abomination.It just goes to show you what type of scum we are dealing with. They are all masters at manipulation. I will remind everyone that republicans and democrats alike approved this bailout and that also the previous administration if in office now would have done the same thing, because we have been slowly backed into this corner we are in for years by inept government and relaxed rules by lending institutions.Letting AIG fail was never an option no matter who was elected. The company had become so diverse that if it failed it would have cause a devastating ripple effect.I agree that when this bailout was written up it should have been written in such a manner that this type of deviate manipulation could not happen. Like I said before, it just goes to show what kind of ungrateful scum we are dealing with here. Agreed? Hopefully Congress will come up with some bipartisan solution to deal with these scum so this never happens again. I hear some people saying they have already passed something to tax the bonuses given so it all gets repaid , but that is unsubstantiated so far. But to get back to my original reason for responding, I just wanted to reiderate again. Just because your opinions differ from someone elses doesn't mean that they are uninformed. They are just of a different opinion. I do have faith that eventually things will get better. I refuse to take a negative outlook on things because I believe in this Country and I believe that Americans are the best people on the planet at adapting and overcoming adversity. Americans get it! We do understand and we will get past this.It won't happen over night, but it will happen, one day, one step at a time.I too enjoy reading the posts and getting everyones take on the issues.
