Butler County Commissioner Dale Pinkerton has his nerve threatening to sell Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center if the workers don't agree to contract concessions.

What concessions have Pinkerton and the other commissioners taken?

I suggest that they go to part-time hours.

It seems to me Pinkerton wants to play judge, jury and executioner.

How can Pinkerton put in jeopardy all of those patients and workers? They do a service I could not do with my own father before he died.

The commissioners should take one day out of their schedule and help at Sunnyview, just to see what the workers there do for a living. The commissioners do nothing as important as taking care of our loved ones when no one else has any other alternative.

Pinkerton wants to know what everybody else can do to sacrifice. I want to know what Pinkerton and the commissioners can do.

Firefighters, police officers and health care workers cannot be asked to do any less than what they are doing.

Threats will get the commissioners nowhere.
