SUGAR CREEK TWP — The Sugarcreek Township Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary will host a homemade soup and bread sale starting at 1 p.m. for soup and 4 p.m. for bread on March 17. Orders are due by Tuesday.Soup types include vegetable beef, beef noodle, and ham and bean. Soup will be sold by the quart. ZELIENOPLE — Seneca Valley High School senior Amanda Cochran will host a charity bowl-a-thon from noon to 4 p.m. March 15 at Freeway Lanes on Perry Highway.Cost is $20 per person for unlimited games. Shoe rental is free. Ninety percent of proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.Events also will include a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction.The event fulfills the school's senior project requirement.
