In memory of my Godson and Nephew on his 23rd Birthday Robert William Foulk

March 4, 1986 - October 9, 2008

My heart is left in shambles,

And my mind is so confused.

Why God would decide to take you now,

My Godson and nephew I would lose.

No more do I hear your laughter,

Or see that beautiful smile.

I pray that God will bring me peace,

If even for just a while.

You were taken from us suddenly,

No good-byes were to be told.

It wasn't supposed to be this way Robbie,

You were supposed to be here to grow old.

But God knew something we didn't

It was already in his great plan.

He sent his angels down for you,

And took you as a young man.

So as this special day approaches,

And I look up to that heavenly place.

I know you are sepnding your birthday,

In God's amazing grace!
