What was it about the hot dog shop everyone loved? It was filthy. If I had to go there to appease friends and family I asked for to go containers so I didn't have to drink out of a cup with pink lipstick on the rim on a day I was wearing red lipstick. The cooks had crusty aprons that looked like they were washed about once a month. Burger Hut sort of has the same ambiance and people seem to love it there too. Can I have my coffee in a to go cup please?

My parents loved the hot dog shop and everyone else seemed to. I'm obviously missing something since my opinion of the place is the minority. What did everyone like about it? Come on, give me some specifics because I'm really curious.

Does anyone remember the Olympic Diner? I loved it there. A group of older men sat at the counter daily and had really interesting conversations. Everything was homemade and had fresh vegetables opposed to canned. The chicken noodle soup had wide noodles with chunks of carrots and celery. It was really clean. They were perpetually wiping things with bleach.
