Butler Little Theatre is preparing to stage

"Anybody Out There?" from March 13 to 21 at the theater at One Howard St.The play by John Patrick is a comedy about a mouse that becomes a lion when he thinks he has only six months to live.

The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, at 8:15 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2:30 p.m. Sundays during a show's run.Tickets, available for members on Tuesday and Wednesday, will be available to the general public beginning March 5. The Associated Artists of Butler County will host two new exhibits in April.Opening night for the first show, "Inspirational Religious Art Exhibit," will be from 7 to 9 p.m. April 3 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St.This nonjuried exhibit open to all artists will celebrate the common values people share and the hope for mankind faith provides.Youth gospel rock band "About A Mile" will perform on April 4, and The Crossfire Band of First United Methodist Church of Butler will perform contemporary gospel music on Good Friday, April 10. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the performances and a small cover charge will apply.The second show, which opens April 17, will be "Paper or Plastic? The Green Show." This will be a juried exhibit with a $250 cash award for Best of Show. AMBRIDGE — The Old Economy Village Garden Workshop will present "Preserving Our Botanical Heritage" from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 4 at the historical site on Route 65.The workshop will explore techniques gathered over thousands of years that continue to shape horticultural practices. This workshop is approved as an advanced training program and qualifies Master Gardeners for updated training hours.A tour of Economy's ornamental gardens will follow the program.
