MERRISSA MALCOLM (Freeport), a freshman on the Westminster women's indoor track and field team, tied for first place in the women's pole vault (3.2 meters) at Baldwin-Wallace Friday.•

KATE DEGEORGE (Butler), a member of the Thiel College women's indoor track and field team, joined Cara Riffe, Chavonne Green and Jacquala Riggins to win the 800-meter relay (1:48.40) at Baldwin-Wallace Friday. She also placed fourth in the 1,600 meter relay (4:19.12), fourth in the 400 (1:00.95) and fifth in the 200 (27.43).•

KELLY CONNOLLY (Seneca Valley) placed third in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.37) and fourth in the 100 butterfly (1:01.43) for the Clarion University women's swim team at the University of Pittsburgh Invitational Saturday.
