COLUMBUS, Ohio — Butler graduate and Ohio State University senior gymnast Eddie Hay is one of seven Buckeyes who will compete for a spot on the U.S. men's gymnastics team during the 2009 Winter Cup Challenge Thursday through Saturday in Las Vegas.

There will be 43 gymnasts each in two qualifying divisions. Seven will be named to the national team.

GREENSBURG — Knoch High product and University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg senior guard Nicole Reiser was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.She led the Bobcats to wins over Frostburg (Md.) State and Penn State-Behrend, hitting the winning 3-pointer with 12 seconds left against the former.In the two games, Reiser averaged 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds for UPG (16-2).It is the second time this season Reiser has received the honor.
