Before they were super
Franco Harris drew a crowd to Butler's new Murphy Mart when he came for an autograph signing session in February 1973. The appearance came just weeks after Harris made the now legendary "Immaculate Reception" catch of a deflected pass and scored the winning touchdown in a playoff game against the Oakland Raiders at Three Rivers Stadium. The victory was the first postseason win in Steelers history. It would still be nearly two years before the Steelers would win their first Super Bowl, beating the Minnesota Vikings, 16-6, in Super Bowl IX at Tulane Stadium on Jan. 12, 1975. Note the camera the man is using to take a picture. This was clearly long before the digital age.
