The Butler-Freeport Community Trail Council will hold free geocaching classes from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday and Feb. 28, at the Summit Township building on Bonnybrook Road.The first class is for those who have never tried geocaching. The second class will be an advanced beginner class, for those who came to the first class or who have experience already.All participants should visit geocaching.com by Feb. 28.The trail has a limited number of GPS units available for use free. Reservations are still available for the A.M. Rotary Sweetheart Gala to be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Grand Ballroom of Cornerstone Commons on Main Street.The proceeds of the gala will again benefit the Community Health Clinic of Butler County.This annual event includes dinner, dessert buffet, donation bar, dancing, silent auction and a live art auction featuring the works of local artists Lisa Stenn, Tom Panei and Willie Hobbs. The live art demonstration will feature Larry Klukaszewski, known for his artwork on footballs and helmets featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers.
