In preparation for Valentine's Day, the Eagle would like to hear from couples who were childhood sweethearts.

ZELIENOPLE — Passavant Retirement Community, 410 S. Main St., has created a new opportunity for volunteers as videographers and interviewers. Interviews with residents and special events on campus will be recorded to show on the community's in-house television station for residents to view.Other volunteer opportunities include computer tutors, chapel escorts, Care Friends, picture day photographers and office assistants.To volunteer, call the community outreach coordinator at 724-453-5414.

BUTLER TWP — The Community Health Clinic of Butler County will hold an orientation for new volunteers from 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 6 at the clinic, 103 Bonnie Drive.All prospective volunteers are welcome.

The Butler Public Library, North McKean Street, will offer toddler story time for 2-year-olds accompanied by an adult from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings through March 10 and 11.Preschool story time for 3- to 6-year-olds will be held at 10:30 and 1:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday through March 26 and 27.Registration is required by calling 724-287-1715.

MIDDLESEX TWP — The Preschool Place of Glade Run Church will begin taking registration for fall 2009 classes from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
