SLIPPERY ROCK— Slippery Rock Baptist Church will host the Lumber River Quartet from 7:15 p.m. until midnight Dec. 31 at the church, 435 Kiester Road.

The quartet sings Southern Gospel music and travels across the U.S. and Canada.

RICHLAND TWP — The First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown will host a Northern Men's Conference from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 17 at the church, Route 8 at Heckert Road.Theme of the conference is "Living as Men in the Image of God."Speakers from various churches in the region will speak on "GQ or Cabela's, Bond or Homer: Our Image and God's Word," "The Mess: Overcoming the Distortion of Sin," "The Cleanup: The Restoring Work of the Holy Spirit" and "The Plan: An Action Plan for Living as Men in the Image of God."
