Holiday times with fun and cheer, have once again drawn everyone near.

But for us there is some empty space, that you both occupied before leaving this place.

Times we remember of Christmas past,

When as a family we were all intact,

To share in the celebration and joy of the season,

To laugh and be close seemed the primary reason.

But God called you back to your heavenly home,

Now you celebrate with him and we know you're not alone.

One thing remains that is nothing new,

We'll see you again when our time here is through.
