PITTSBURGH — A memorial service is being held for friends, family and colleagues of an FBI agent who was slain in the line of duty last month.

The service in remembrance of Special Agent Sam Hicks was to begin at 2 p.m. today at St. Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh. Hicks lived in Richland Township and is survived by his wife, Brooke, and 2-year-old son, Noah.

Christina Korbe, 40, is charged with shooting Hicks as he raided her Indiana Township home with other officers to arrest her husband on a drug-trafficking warrant Nov. 19.

Hicks grew up in Westmoreland County, and attended the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.
