Pitt's McKillop best in Big East
PITTSBURGH — Scott McKillop, the playmaking linebacker who helped Pitt to its first bowl game appearance in four years, was chosen Wednesday as the Big East Conference defensive player of the year.
McKillop, a fifth-year senior who led the conference in tackles the last two seasons, and running back LeSean McCoy were unanimous picks for the all-conference team.
