ZELIENOPLE — The Passavant Retirement Community will celebrate its annual Live to Celebrate light-up night from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the community, 401 S. Main St.The event will include activities for children, a Chinese auction, crafts and gift items, a horse-drawn carriage ride, model railroad and refreshments. Santa Claus will also visit the facilities. Entertainers will perform throughout the day.

The Bartramian Audubon Society will host annual bird counts on Dec. 20 and Jan. 4.The Dec. 20 count will focus on birds in a 15-mile circle located about 1½ miles east of the junction of Lindey Road and Route 528.
