CRANBERRY TWP— A bone marrow typing and replenishment blood drive will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road.

MARS— The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will hold an American Red Cross babysitting training class from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Adams Township Municipal Building, 690 Valencia Road.Registration is required and will be taken at the department at Alameda Park in Butler and over the phone. HARMONY — Old Economy Village is looking for singers of all vocal parts to join the site's choir. HARMONY— Zion Lutheran Church will hold a vendor and craft show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church on Route 19, three miles north of Zelienople.The youth group will concurrently hold a bake sale and a Chinese auction.

MARS — The Mars Public Library will hold a gingerbread house contest until Dec. 1. The theme is animated characters from TV shows or movies and entries will be judged on originality, creativity and overall appearance. Judging will be held Dec. 10.Divisions will be ages 16 and up, ages 7 to 15 and groups of two or more members.Entries must not be from kits. Components should be mostly gingerbread and food. Some nonfood items may be used.Base boards should be sturdy and no more than 12 inches by 15 inches. GROVE CITY— The Grove City AARPwill sponsor a bus trip Dec. 3 to the Carousel Dinner Theater in Akron, Ohio.
