COLLEGE NOTES

KATE WILT (Grove City College), a freshman, was named Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer-Diver of the Week. She won three events in the Wolverines' 194-95 victory over Chatham:the 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke.•

CRAIG BICEHOUSE (Slippery Rock), a sophomore kicker for Grove City College, was named PACSpecial Teams Player of the Week. He kicked two PATs and a 42-yard field goal in the first half, then added a 29-yard field goal in a 20-14 win over Thiel.•

CLINTON ORLOSKI (Slippery Rock), a senior co-captain for the Bucknell University cross country team, finished first for the Bison and 46th overall with a time of 33 minutes, 57 seconds at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships.•

LAUREN BALMERT (Seneca Valley), a freshman setter for the Fairfield (Conn.) University women's volleyball team, was named MAACVolleyball Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season. She had 43 assists and 13 digs in a 3-2 win at Loyola, 31 assists and 10 digs in a 3-0 win over Manhattan.•

ANGELA HEAGY (Seneca Valley), a sophomore on the Hiram (Ohio) College women's volleyball team, helped the Terriers to a runner-up finish in the NCACTournament as a defensive specialist.•

MEGAN FERDERBER (Grove City), a senior on the Washington &Jefferson women's soccer team, was named first-team All-PAC. She plays defender.•

ROB BRIGGS (Knoch) had 11 rebounds and six points, but the Westminster College men's basketball team dropped an 81-74 decision to Pitt-Bradford Tuesday.
