Courtney Hoover and Juliana Howell both scored a goal as the Slippery Rock University women's soccer team clinched a PSAC playoff berth with a 2-0 win over visiting California on Saturday.

Senior tailback Brian Mercer rushed for three touchdowns and the Grove City College defense held Waynesburg to just 68 yards of offense and five first downs as the Wolverines pulled out a 23-19 road win on Saturday.It was Grove City's first victory at Waynesburg since 2000.
