The Butler Public Library will hold Nursery Rhyme Time from 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesdays through Nov. 26 for children 12 to 24 months old when accompanied by an adult.

PENN TWP— The Samaritan Counseling Center of Western Pennsylvania will celebrate its 25th anniversary with an awards dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Butler Country Club on Country Club Road.For tickets, call 412-741-7430. Proceeds will benefit the center's client aid fund.

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will hold a U-NAME-IT auction at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Bethany Room of the church. Regular items, gift certificates and unique gifts of time and talent will be auctioned.A light supper will be served from 6 to 6:45 p.m. for a donation. HARMONY— A Fair Trade show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 8 at Zion Lutheran Church, 557 Perry Hwy. Crafts, coffee and tea from around the world will be available.

The American Legion Riders Butler Chapter will host a bus trip to the Seneca Allegany Casino Nov. 29. It will depart at 7 a.m. from Friedman's at Point Plaza and arrive at the casino in Salamanca, N.Y.For reservations, call Don at 724-283-8248 or Dick at 724-290-8294. Proceeds will benefit veterans.

Stuttering help is available for parents, teachers, and speech-language pathologists at the Butler, Cranberry and Zelienople public libraries through a video titled "Therapy in Action: The School-age Child Who Stutters."The video features students from first through sixth grade who talk about their experiences with stuttering.For more information, contact the Stuttering Foundation at 800-992-9392 or visit stutteringhelp.org.
