It's been 11 years since you left us so unexpectedly.

Sometimes it is hard to understand why things happen the way they do.

But we put our faith in God above that He will see us through.

Little did we know that morning the sorrow the day would bring.

The end was sudden, the shock severe

To part with you, the one we loved so dear.

We did not know the pain you had or heard your final sigh

We only know that you had left us

Without a last good-bye.

You meant so very much to us,

That nothing we could say

Can tell the love that's in our hearts

As we think of you this day.
