CRANBERRY TWP — The Greater Cranberry Barbershop Chorus announced it is available for Christmas musical entertainment.

A holiday craft fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 1 at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church hall, 127 Franklin St. The fair will include quilted pieces, home decor jewelry, frames, books, lotions and more. Lunch will be available.

SUMMIT TWP— The Freeport Road Alliance Church will hold a youth harvest bash at 6 p.m. Nov. 1 at the church, 516 Freeport Road. Teens in grades six to 12 are invited. The event will include hay rides, games and food.For more information, visit freewebs.com/blazeyouthgroup.

First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will hold a "Drugs and Your Kids" seminar from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 2 in the sanctuary. The presentation will be for parents and students in grades four through 12.A local police officer, a juvenile probation officer and individuals who help lead Seeds of Hope will be available to answer questions and bring awareness to the prevalence of drugs around children. Child care will be available in the nursery for children in third grade and under.

Gift baskets with more than $200 of specialty items are anticipated to raise hundreds of dollars for Butler County's military families between now and Dec. 13. Retail members of the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau will sell $1 raffle tickets for the baskets.About 12 items ranging from toy trains and airplanes to soda-making kits and candy are included in each basket. One basket in each store will be awarded.
