Boy killed in shooting accident
UPPER ST. CLAIR — A 9-year-old suburban Pittsburgh boy was killed in what police are calling an accidental shooting.
Police said Christian Lanese died after a shooting around 4 p.m. Saturday at the Upper St. Clair home where he lived with his twin brother, Stephen, and their father, Michael Lanese.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office said the third-grader was shot by a juvenile but did not identify the person.
Police declined to comment further.
