Broken water main floods shopping mall
GREENSBURG — The lower floor of the Westmoreland Mall was closed Thursday while firefighters and other crews worked to clean up after an 8-inch water main broke and flooded at least 30 stores.
More than 80 firefighters used squeegees and pumps to clear out the water at the mall on Route 30 in Hempfield Township.
