PITTSBURGH — A 79-year-old man who tumbled from his row boat during the 22nd annual Head of the Ohio regatta in Pittsburgh died of natural causes.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner said Stuart Law of Washington, D.C., died of coronary artery disease. Authorities said he was pulled out of the water by a competitor after he fell from his one-man scull about 9 a.m. Saturday.

Emergency crews performed life-support and took Law to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh where he died a short time later.
