HARMONY— Old Economy Village will celebrate Erntefest, a traditional German harvest festival, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Visitors will enjoy demonstrations on how to make cheese, sausage, butter, apple schnitz, cider, ginger beer and a variety of other traditional fall foods of the 19th century. Broom making, meat smoking, coopering, bee keeping, wine making and beer brewing also will be demonstrated. Children will do chores such as pumping water and washing clothes before playing old-fashioned games. Food prepared by members of St. John Lutheran Church will be available.

Sunset Hills Farm Alpacas will celebrate National Alpaca Farm Day on Saturday at the farm, 1120 Three Degree Road. The event will include hay rides, food vendors, spinners and weavers, alpaca clothing and presentations.

RIMERSBURG — UMWA Health and Retirement Funds and Lungs at Work will sponsor a flu clinic for coal miners and their spouses from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Rimersburg Senior Center, 7363 Route 68.
