Mercyhurst scored a goal in the 89th minute to break a tie en route to a 2-1 victory over the Slippery Rock University women's soccer team.

It was the first loss of the season for The Rock (4-1-1, 3-1-1).

Chelsea Sneed scored off an assist by Rachel Knapp in the 32nd minute to give SRU a 1-0 lead before Karla Vogt tied the game in the 65th minute.

Sarah Lacy made eight saves for SRU, which was outshot 24-10.
