Dearest Dad,

Eight long years have passed, but all the memories you left behind... All those little things you did throughout my life, along with all the hard work you did "fixing" all problems, along with the repairs at my house...which brings me to just one of your quotes... "I can fix anything—except the crack of dawn..and a broken heart."

I am so grateful I'm the one who got to call you "dad."
