GROVECITY — The Lyons Den Rescue will hold its sixth annual canine carnival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 6 at Grove City Memorial Park.

Events will include a rabies clinic, toenail trim and nail painting, games for dogs, agility demonstrations, search and rescue information, sled dog and obedience groups, an adoption showcase and a pet parade. Lunch and snack items will be available for purchase.

CABOT— A benefit ride will be held for Edwin Wilbert at 9 a.m. Sept. 6 leaving Penn United Technology, 799 N. Pike Road.Wilbert of Butler Township survived a massive and nearly fatal stroke in April.Riders will return at 1 p.m. for lunch, door prizes and live music by Street Level.

The Reality Tour, a drug awareness program for youth ages 10 and older when accompanied by a parent or guardian, will be held at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Butler YWCA, 120 W.
